We like to be sneaky.

I like to play a little game called "Sneaky Photos"
It is a lot of fun, and seriously you should try it.
What you do is you take a sneaky photo of someone, in other words take a photo of a person and not let them see you.
And then you take a photo of you being sneaky.
Let me show you some of our latest images.

My Father.

This is my dad. Today is his birthday.
So obviously I am going to devote a blog to him.

I know that lots of people will try argue against this, but I actually have the BEST dad in the whole world.
My dad has sacrificed absolutely everything, for us kids.

We are very grateful for what he has done, and I know sometimes I'm not very good at showing my gratitude.

I would not be the person I am today if my dad hadn't battled out the hard times, and held our then, small family of four together. He has given us such a great example of how a Christian should live, and I am glad that God has blessed me with such a great role model.

I know that he has and always will be there for me, to give me wisdom and a hug when times are tough.

Don't get me wrong this man is flawed.
Firstly, he is in love with golf.
Secondly, he has a very inappropriate sense of humor (which I have definitely inherited) that he let's out occasionally in public.
Thirdly, He gave me some pretty crappy 'things' like heyfever, long sightedness etc. (Which I remind him of every day.)

But, there is nothing I would change about him.
I love him for his flaws. Without them he wouldn't be him.

Ten Things I Love About My Dad:
1// I love his sense of humor.
2// I love that he is my friend.
3// I love that he has greatly sacrificed his life for his children.
4// I love that he loves Jesus.
5// I love that my friends can call him 'Daddy Dave'
6// I love that he is a man of his word.
7// I love that I can talk to him about everything/anything.
8// I love that after we have a fight we can act like it never happened.
9// I love that for the last 7 years he has been my mum and my dad.
10// I just love Him.

I could keep going on forever, but I thought I better stop.

These are just a few shots from his birthday:

Some Yummy Food.

Some Good Friends.

Some Humorous Cards.

                                                              And a video.

Happy Birthday Dad. Hope your day was wonderful.
Love Ange. xx

Just for you Lauren Joy..

There are five rules:
1 // Post these rules.
2 // Post a photo of yourself and 11 random things.
3 // Answer the questions set for you in the original post.
4 // Create 11 new questions and tag people to answer them.
5 // Go to their blog/twitter and tell them you've tagged them.

Eleven random things:
1 // I HATE bananas. Not just dislike bananas, it's a definite hate.
2 // My family is like the real Brady Bunch.
3 // I'm really bad at thinking of random things about myself.
4 // I have lived with just a dad since I was 13.
5 // I am not stupid.
6 // I have a tattoo.
7 // I want to complete Grade 6 for piano, but keep procrasitinating.
8 // I am of the Female Gender.
9 // I accidently just spelt female, 'femail'.
10 // Maybe I am stupid?
11 // I chipped my front tooth when I was younger, so technically I only have half a tooth.

My Answers to Lauren's Question's:
1 // What is your youngest memory?
When I lived in Sydney we had a trampoline, and I remember as a kid me and my 2 older brothers used to jump on it, and dad (Who I may add was the coolest) used to throw a ball at our heads and we thought it was hilarious, and would ask "again?, again?"
2 // What would you never do? Not even for a million dollars.

I would never eat a huntsman for $1m. They terrify me.
3 // What is your favorite word?
I don't think I actually have a favourite word.

4 // How do your like bed? Messy or made?
I love my bed messy, I hate feeling like it's tucked in, and I can't move.

5 // Would you rather be blind or deaf?
I think as much as it would suck, and I would not like to be either; I would be blind. I love music so I would hate not being able to hear it.
6 // Cereal or Toast? Why?
Definitely toast. I dislike Milk, unless its chocolate flavoured milk, but even then I can't drink it often. So cereal is a big no no.

7 // What would your 12 year old self say they wanted to be when they grew up?
They would want to be either a youth worker, or a music teacher. Can't remember.

8 // What advice would you give yourself at that age?
To be real with people, and not be ashamed/ scared to be the real me.

9 // What are you afraid of?
Banana's, Saying my opinion in front of groups, SPIDERS, swimming at the beach... there's probably more.

10 // Winter? Summer? Spring? Autumn? Why?
Autumn, because it's still warm, but not as hot as summer, and maybe because my birthday is in Autumn.

11 // Do you snore?
Only when I'm exhausted. (I've been told)

My Question's:
1 // Where were you born?
2 // What type of music do you enjoy?
3 // Do you have any bad habits? E.G. biting your nails etc.
4 // Do you scrunch or fold?
5 // If you had $1m, how would you spend it?
6 // What is your favorite flavor of yogurt?
7 // What would be your dream job? (it can be completely unrealistic.)
8 // What did you imagine your life to be like at your current age, when you were in yr 7?
9 // What is better Chocolate Thickshakes or Vanilla Thickshakes from McDonalds?
10 // Have you ever accidentally walked up to the wrong car and tried to get in? Explain.
11 // Are you a morning person or a night owl?

Boring, but Beautiful.

Let me tell you a story.
My church was having a Garage Sale, to support our Missions Team to go over to the Phillipines.
So I thought to myself, why not have a look and see if there's anything cheap/cool, as you do when there is a Garage Sale.
I wondered around the hall like a little child, looking through a toy shop. I secretly love Garage Sales. (I guess it's not a secret anymore.)
Anyways, I was aimlessly wandering until, there it was right before my eyes. The most beautiful/boring table you'd ever seen. Beautiful because I could see the potential, and boring cause it was, well boring. There was something quaint about this table. And it was love at first sight.

So what did I do?
I ran in to the intern office to get my best friend to make sure I wasnt going crazy. She approved of the table and with much excitement we planned how we were going to change this boring table, into a beautiful table... Until, we looked at the price tag. I'm not going to lie, I thought the table would be like $30 at the most, but to our surprise it was like $60. So there went our table plans. We were shattered.

It was the Sunday after the garage sale, and there were still some items left in the hall for sale. So Lauren and I thought hopefully, "lets go look and see if the table is still there."
To our surprisement, it was... don't get too excited, because it had a SOLD sticker on it. Now we had been excited then disappointed, then back to excited, and then again disappointed.

We decided to let go of our table dreams.

During the next week, I went to work at the church as usual. And Pastor Rob walks in to the office and says; "Do you like you're table?"
And I said; "Excuse me?"
And then he said; "I heard you and Lauren talking about how much you wanted that table, so I put a sold sticker on it to save it for you."
And I was like; "Oh My Goodness! really?"
And he said; "Yeh, you can have it for $20"
So I called Lauren in and we were so very excited!!

The point of that ridicously long story was that we got our boring table.
And now we have made it beautiful.

That was before.
This is now:

I have a Dream.

When I say the word dream, what do you think of?
Some people will think of a particular type of 'dream', you know the kind where you go to sleep and dream something wacky; I often do! I dreamt my friends from work were singing 'Hit me Baby, One More Time' by Britney Spears, on the stage at church, and I joined in, like it was completely normal.. But this isn't the kind of dream I am talking about.

I'm talking about the kind of dream that you wish you could have as your job. The thing you would like/choose to do for the rest of your life. My dream is to be a singer/musician/song writer. Crazy, I know. I'm not meaning I want to be ridiculously famous, but I would like to release an album or two, play at festivals and tour around Australia. But reality is, that will probably never happen.

I'm a 20 yr old, living in a small country town, trying to decide what to do with the rest of my life -Which is scary!
Some of you are probably thinking; but you're still young, you still have many years ahead to discover what you want to do with your life. But to me, I hate not knowing what I am to do. I pray to God that he will show me, and I know that I'm being impatient and wanting to know in MY time, other then waiting for him to show me in His. After all, He is God. He see's the big picture, I only see the here and now.

I guess the lesson I am learning is to be patient, and trust in God.
So easy to say, yet so hard to do.
